Last Friday, Aggie’s eyes started to water and there was a slight discharge coming from her right eye. As this is a normal occurrence, even for Nina, I decided to home treat with an eye cream that the doctor had prescribed before. However, on Sunday morning, when I was grooming Aggie, I saw that her eye situation didn’t improve and in fact I saw a fleck of something in her eye. In my mind I went “Oh no, not another eye scratch incident!”.
If were on a road trip, I would have gotten road trip medical assistance however since we were at home, I just made sure we were at the vet bright and early Monday morning to attend to Aggie’s eye. Doc Sharon confirmed that this is the same situation as before. In fact, this time the ulcer is slightly bigger than before and we can only pray that it will heal as nicely as the incident before. So Aggie went through surgery yesterday morning and is now at home recovering. She is taking to the patch and the collar very well and doesn’t seem to be affected by it at all. She is eating well and on the whole recovering nicely.
Bill came up to RM466 but the doctor called when we left the vet to say that she forgotten to include ward fees and she would include those in Aggie’s follow up visit…sigh

Aiyo eye surgery terus.. not a good month for meows eh? Get well soon cutie Aggie, and hopefully no more cat prob for either one of us for the rest of the year! My case, Phoebe paling teruk.. rest dah okay but Pheebs still not doing great boo hoo!

that's why lah GP.. but she is strong and walking around even with one eye.. lol!hopefully this is the end this year.. can't take any more meow cubaan..oh pheebs still shedding ke?

Oh no.. What telah happen Aggie.. Could it be she terscratch herself or the other kitties yang scratch her?
