The Beautiful Awan

When Awan came into our lives in 2009, we never thought she would turn out as she is today… A fluffy lovable kitty!

The kitties love climbing everything. In fact, the higher the better as far as they are concern. They climb on top of my kitchen cabinet, they fight for space on A’s amplifier  and they sleep on top of my tv. Can you imagine if I had one of those thin plasma tvs and they try to climb that and sleep on that and seeing how it is so thin, it might just topple over.. OMG! I would cry.. lol!

I am currently in Singapore for about a week and Azwaj is home taking care of the furkids. It’s no easy task for sure since he has to work, take care of the fur-kids and on top of that apparently Abah (my FIL) has went off for a mysteriously vacation and had asked Azwaj to take care of the house and to probably water the plants as well. Azwaj has so far been handling it very well and it looked like the kids are behaving till today that is..

It seems, Azwaj had forgotten to shut close the window that opens to my dressing room and Joy had managed to open the window and the kids had climbed into the room as well. When Azwaj heard noises inside the room, he saw Jaybol and Jerome on the bed and the rest were having a field day playing with… TISSUE.. OMG can you imagine the wreckage?Azwaj had taken pictures for sure but he hasn’t send them to me yet coz when I spoke to him, he was getting ready to retire for the day. Luckily we didn’t have any important paperwork like mortgage or other important documents there!

Baby Jam: Hiya Awan.. If you’re not busy I want to ask you about multivitamin for women

Awan: Huh? what do you want to know Baby Jam?

Baby Jam: Well I’m not gonna be a baby much longer and I want to be strong, pretty and cute like you. How do I do that?

Awan: Oh well first of all, you must get enough sleep, then you must eat all that Mommy LJ and daddy give you because they know what is best for you.

Baby Jam: How do I be cute like you?

Awan: Hmmm.. that is my little secret.. sorry can’t tell you..

Bay Jam: Sob sob…meow meow!

Awan: Oh.. you’re such a baby!

Sometimes looking at Awan sleeping sends both me and Azwaj into fits of laughter. Why? Because she sleeps in the oddest position and while doing the oddest thing. Most times she sleeps like a any normal cats would but sometimes she would be grooming herself and next thing we know, her eyes are shut and she’s fast asleep, just like these two pictures. I wonder if she’s dreaming about climbing any cypress tree while sleeping like that.
